The most widely used stainless steel, type 304 is commonly used in chemical and food processing equipment, gutters, and flashing. It has good weld ability, formability, and temperature resistance.
Temperature range to maintain corrosion resistance is -320º to +1600ºF.
Hardness: 180-201 Brinell
Yield strength: 30,000 psi
